We bring you the lowdown on Hollywood’s iconic costume auction. Debbie Reynolds who acted in movies like Singin’ in the Rain and The Unsinkable Molly Brown, is auctioning legendary film costumes which she has been collecting for over 50 years.

Marilyn Monroe ’s subway 0 in The Seven Year Itch is one of  most iconic (and seductive) 5 in Hollywood history. This ivory, pleated 0 was designed by  wedding gowns sashes ; William Travilla , and the Profiles in History auction house, where the June 18 auction will happen estimates the value of this legendary gown between $1 million and $2 million. (Whoa!) A section of fans have protested to this public display and auction of this epic piece of Hollywood history.

Now, I absolutely adore Audrey Hepburn and I particularly loved her in My Fair Lady, so her Ascot 2 from the movie on auction totally makes it to the top of my wishlist along with Julie Andrews’ costumes from The Sound of Music.
