We talked to Kristin Rawson, Ann Taylor's style director, to get the full scoop on the new store and her summer style tips.

What makes this concept store different?

The new store is designed to create a more intimate experience. Luxurious finishes such as crystal chandeliers, custom floral wallpaper and seating and furniture-like fixtures add personality to the space. Lighting has been a huge focus. We wanted to create a space that is light and bright to accentuate the product. Surrounding the center of the store are the "shop in shops" where clients can discover and experience the different lifestyle aspects of Ann Taylor: suiting, relaxed chic, accessories and petites. The dressing room area even contains a multichannel touch screen for clients to easily find product information.
